General Director

Fiona Davis

My current role:
I own my own business that has a number of business streams including working directly with families as a Developmental Educator and as a Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner; I provide clinical and practice supervision to both Developmental Educator and Behaviour Support Practitioners and their organisations; and I provide training/conference and consultancy services. I am also involved in developing a number of App based solutions in the behaviour support space.

Your DE work experience:
I have lived experience of raising a child with a physical disability and have worked alongside families Australia wide for 30 + years supporting their needs in many ways. Whilst disability and human rights are my passion, behaviour support is the area that naturally evolved professionally, as my knowledge and experience has grounded my professional practice.

Why you joined the Board:
I joined the Board to support the growth of the DE Role and it’s specialised, ethical and professional standing across a dynamic and complex area of practice.
