Your DE work experience:
Mary currently works with NDIS participants and is the director of Progressive Pathways. Mary supports participants across the lifespan. I enjoy advocating for the rights of people with disability and building capacity. I enjoy teaching skills around parenting and family education, social skills, sexual health, budgeting, transport training, employment and volunteering support, daily living skills, and completes assessments such as vineland-3 and ABAS-3 and writing NDIS therapy reports.
Why you joined the Board:
To advocate for Developmental Educators and to provide support to the DEA. Roles I have completed on the Board include collating the DEA newsletters, attending DEA events, supporting CPD events and supporting the implementation of the continuous professional development process.
